These photos were sent to us by happy customers.  We posted them on our website or blog, used them in our catalog and gave the customers $50 to spend on our website.  Want to show off  your Shaka Studios furniture and earn $50, too?  Perhaps you'd rather have $500 to spend on our website?  Here's how!
 
Enter the Shaka Studios Photo Contest

Recently we were advised by a customer:  "show more pictures of furniture in room settings. . .  I promise you'll sell more!"

Of course we want to sell more furniture! Since we do not have a showroom, we need YOUR help! Plus, we'll make helping us worth your while! If you like your Shaka Studios furniture enough to show it off PLUS want to win $500 to spend on more Shaka Studios furniture, now is your chance!! Shaka Studios' photo contest will end when there are 12 or more qualifying entries.

Here's how it works: Shane and I will pick our twelve favorite photos and post them to our website. We will then ask a panel of neutral judges to choose their top 3 favorite photos. The photo with the most votes wins! The lucky photographer will then receive a $500 Shaka Studios Gift Voucher. The second and third place photographers will each receive $250 Shaka Studios Gift Vouchers. Wait! There's more! EVERY person that submits a photo will receive a $50 Shaka Studios Gift Voucher.

Contestants are welcome to submit as many photos as you like, but only one photo per contestant will be considered for the top 12. Submit your photos via email to photocontest @ shakastudios.com (remove the spaces). Photo(s) can be attached to the email, or you may provide a link to the photo(s) somewhere on the web (i.e. flikr, walgreens, picasa, msn photo email, etc.)

The fine print:
 
1. Open to Continental U.S. residents ages 18 and over except where prohibited.
 
2. By submitting your photo, you are giving Wood Designs, Inc. the right to use the photo in advertisements, publications and on the web and forfeit royalties.
 
3. Your personal information will be protected. If you wish to have your name included with your featured photo, we'll be more than happy to do so. We always protect the privacy of our customers, so we do ask that you state your preference when submitting your project.
 
4. Winners will be awarded product only. There is no cash prize.
 
5. No additional purchase necessary to enter.
 
6. Winners agree to have their name published in our e-newsletter and on our websites.
 
7. Contest ends when there are 12 or more qualifying entries.
 
8. Winners will be announced two weeks after contest ends. 
 
9. Allow 12 weeks for prize delivery.
 
10. Odds of winning are based on number of entries and cannot be estimated.
 
11. Prizes can not be combined on a single purchase.
 
12. Only photos that have not previously been submitted are eligible for the contest.
 
13. The subject of eligible contest photos submitted is "Shaka Studios Furniture in a room setting."

Additonal submission details:
1.   Although we very much enjoy each and every photo we receive, we are not able to guarantee that your photo will be featured on the site.

2.  By submitting your photo, you are giving Wood Designs, Inc. the right to use the photo in advertisements, publications and on the web and forfeit royalties beyond your $50 credit.

4.   If we feature your project we will contact you with the information on your $50.00 credit.  This credit can be used towards a product purchase on our website.  The $50.00 credit can not be used toward custom or modified items, or any items other than products available on our website.

5.   This offer may be altered or discontinued at any time.  If changes are made, we will still honor your $50.00 credit, but will discontinue issuing any additional credits.
