Carol in Kingwood owns several Shaka Studios products including a chimney cupboard and a dry sink. When Carol hired a contractor to remodel her bathroom, she showed him her Shaka Studios furniture and asked that her bathroom cabinets be made in the same style.
 
Cabinetmakers are not furnituremakers, and vice versa. As a matter of fact, most cabinetmakers today use premade doors and drawers and giant machines called CNC Routers to cut out their parts. Thus, true custom cabinets are difficult to find. A cabinetmaker will tell you they are making you a custom cabinet, when in actuality, they are basically allowing you to choose from their stock offering of doors, drawers and finishes.
